CHEMICAL PEELS This treatment is designed to reverse conditions that affect the appearance of the skin. We offer a variety of chemical peels, from light glycolic peels and salicylic acid treatments to TCA (Trichloroacetic Acid) peels. These peels vary in strength and penetration and can effectively reduce fine lines, wrinkles and dark spots in many different skin types with varying skin damage. We will help you choose the best peel for your particular needs. LASER HAIR REMOVAL One of the most advanced, reliable and effective methods of removing unwanted hair growth. In this procedure, hair is removed to reveal soft, smooth, stubble-free skin. Light is emitted onto the skin's surface, effectively disabling the hair follicle with virtually no pain or side effects. Facial procedures last a few minutes, while larger areas like the back and chest require one to two hours to treat. MICRODERMABRASION Developed and used for years in Europe, this in office treatment has rapidly gained popularity in the United States. The skin is gently buffed using light pressure and ultra fine particles, which gradually smoothes down the superficial layers of skin. This results in a very smooth and healthy appearing skin surface. This is an excellent procedure for people with very sensitive skin and those patients with darker skin. It also has resulted in improved appearance of both wrinkles and acne scars. IPL TREATMENT Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) can be used for hair reduction and is also used in the treatment of sun damage induced dyspigmentation, poililoderma, and acne. This new technology incorporates 'dual mode filtering' and other important advances which result in safer and more effective treatment than the older systems; which were initially designed for simple processes such as hair removal. The pulses of light produced by IPL equipment are very short in duration, so discomfort and damage to non-target tissues is minor. Most people who undergo IPL epilation only experience slight irritation similar to that of a minor sunburn. The light that emanates from the IPL wand is filtered to remove any ultraviolet components, eliminating the possibility of UV skin damage. EPI-DERMAL LEVELING An extremely safe exfoliation treatment, similar to microdermabrasion, which removes a layer of dead skin cells and fine facial hair. This treatment increases firmness, minimizes fine lines and wrinkles, and drastically reduces pre-cancerous cells. |
